Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Services

Pediatric Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies, and Nutrition services are available for children of any age who have developmental challenges and live in the Central KS region. Fees are billed to insurance, medical card or private pay and services are provided at ICD.

Therapy services are provided for children who may need assistance with :

  • Gross motor skills
  • Fine motor skills
  • Play and learning
  • Sensory processing
  • Vision and hearing screening or assessment
  • Diet management
  • Oral motor and feeding skills
  • Receptive/expressive language
  • Articulation

Interventions include:

  • Adaptive equipment consultation and fitting and instruction
  • Upper and lower extremity bracing and splinting
  • Serial casting
  • Strengthening, balance and coordination
  • Gait training
  • Sensory interventions
  • Activities of daily living
  • Feeding
  • Assistive communication technology consultation and instruction
  • Nutrition assessment
  • Diet management

  • Salina Regional Health Center physicians can refer directly through Meditech – ICD Referral Workgroup.

Doctor’s offices, community agencies, and parents can request an evaluation by either calling ICD office at (785) 452-3050, faxing a referral report to (785) 452-6056, or utilizing the Referral Form located above.
